About LDAG

Lucan Disability Action Group (LDAG) exists to provide a flexible, customer-focused, accessible and affordable transport service for individuals with disabilities and elderly people with limited mobility. We offer door-to-door demand-responsive service 24/7, 365 days a year, to people with disabilities across South West Dublin. We maintain a visionary and person-centred approach to developing a community bus service that builds on the identified needs of disadvantaged communities, groups, and individuals with limited mobility.

Without accessible transport, lives are being wasted. People stay at home or in nursing homes with no transport options and become isolated, which we know can lead to diminished health and diminished quality of life. At LDAG, we believe in the power of access to the community and giving people their independence back. The autonomy we grant has the potential to positively impact the mental and physical health of people in our community and build community connections.
